When we accept Christ, we experience a profound transformation where our old self dies and we become new creations. This change brings new desires focused on heavenly things, new duties as we live for Christ, and a new destiny in eternal life. While Christians still battle between their renewed spirit and earthly flesh, victory comes through actively putting to death sinful behaviors and embracing our new identity where worldly divisions and status markers become meaningless. What truly matters is that Christ dwells in all believers, unifying us beyond any earthly distinctions.
